Performing arts
We know that a broader definition of art includes also music, theater, dance. Those are forms of a group of arts called performing arts. When we say performing arts, we mean forms of art in which individual people (called artists) perform separately or together. Artists use their bodies, voices, or inanimate objects to convey artistic expression. Artists who participate in performing arts in front of an audience are called performers, and they often wear costumes and makeup. They include actors, musicians, singers, dancers, comedians, magicians, circus artists, magicians, and so on.
Performing arts are different from visual arts, where artists use paint, pencils, clay, or various materials to create artwork. Performing arts include a range of disciplines, and they are performed in front of a live audience.
Apart from music, dance, and theater, performing arts include opera, drama, magic and illusion performances, oratory, as well as, circus arts.

An opera is a form of theater in which music has a leading role and the parts are taken by singers.
